Clear is Kind: Boundaries & Communication without Guilt

Clear communication is an act of kindness — to yourself and others. This session focuses on strengthening personal and professional boundaries through clear communication. Participants will explore setting and understanding boundaries, communicating needs effectively, and navigating feelings of guilt that can come up when practicing healthy boundaries. Presented by Ashley Warren, Executive Director of Programs at NAMI Illinois.
This session is free, but registration is required.
Group Leader Training
October 19, 21, 26 and 28, 2026
from 7-9pm Eastern Time each day
This training is for those who would like to step up to a Group Leader or Assistant Leader role for Zoom or in-person meetings. To qualify for training, you should be attending RI meetings regularly for at least 3-6 months and know the concepts and 4-Step Method. (Session held via Zoom.)
$35 for members, $70 for non-members and includes one year of membership.
Power Your Mind: Tools to Build Resilience
Become a certified trainer to confidently deliver the Power Your Mind: Tools to Build Resilience program to youth or school groups. In these two 2-hour sessions, you will learn how to deliver Power Your Mind workshops to youth groups ranging in age from 13-18 years old.
Participants will receive the Power Your Mind:

- Leader Guide
- PowerPoint slide deck
- Instruction to confidently and consistently facilitate workshops.
